We strive to provide an exceptional, personalized experience under the pristine Atacama sky. Because our tours require dedicated scheduling, specialized equipment, and have limited capacity, we enforce the following terms:

1. Client Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

All booking modifications or cancellations are subject to a morning 9:00 AM cutoff based on the local time of the scheduled tour date.

• Changes BEFORE 9:00 AM on the day of the tour:

  • Rescheduling: Clients are permitted a one-time (1x) complimentary reschedule to a future available date. Once a tour has been rescheduled, the new date is considered final. If the client cancels, modifies, or fails to attend this rescheduled session for any reason, the booking is strictly non-refundable and no further changes can be made.

  • Cancellation: Eligible for a partial refund. To cover non-refundable merchant gateway processing fees (e.g., PayPal/Stripe) and fixed administrative operational costs, a 20% cancellation fee will be retained. The remaining 80% of the total booking value will be refunded to the client.

• Changes AFTER 9:00 AM on the day of the tour (or No-Shows): Strictly non-refundable and no longer eligible for rescheduling. Late changes do not allow us enough time to offer the slots to other guests.

2. Weather & Astrological Conditions

Astronomy tours are inherently dependent on the weather.

• Complete Overcast / Unfavorable Conditions: If we must cancel the tour due to complete cloud cover or extreme weather, you will be offered the choice to reschedule for a following night (subject to availability) or receive a 100% full refund (including all fees). This protection applies equally to both original bookings and rescheduled dates.

• Moonlight: Please note that the presence of the moon changes the visibility of deep-space objects but offers a spectacular view of the lunar surface. Tours are not cancelled or refunded due to natural lunar cycles.

3. International Payments & Currency

All international transactions and refunds are processed in USD. We are not responsible for any variations in total amounts returned due to fluctuations in currency exchange rates or external bank conversion fees.
